Almond Flour Banana Nut Bread

Yes, I'm still out of town and I hope that I'm still on track - here is a great breakfast recipe that I want you to make this weekend and freeze the extras for quick breakfasts throughout the week.  Because it doesn't contain grain, it's great for Stage 1.

  1. I made these last night...absolutely yummy. I was very nervous about cooking with ingredients foreign to me (cocnut oil, almond flour, agave) but it was easy and so worth it.

    Question though...I just started Stage 1 and saw that these were appropriate in the heading, but then at the end of the recipe it says it counts as 1 whole grain. Did I mess up?

  2. No, I did. They are not a whole grain and I need to fix that recipe printout. So you're good. Freeze the extra so no one steals them and eats them all!
